Not always. We have whites, blacks, gingers, sandy (yellowish-peach?), and brown skinned people. I personally am one of the "sandy" ones :) I think it's because the middle east is positioned near the tropics and because of past immigration that we have a great variation of skin tones and features. It goes to an extent where the middle east also has east asian looking people (found in iran and afghanistan). But what does that matter? It's not the skin or appearance that matters but the person :)
