There’s a whole industry of gyms, DVDs, articles, TV shows,and books that introduce us to the world of personal trainers, sports scientists,and health promotion workers. We all know that exercise is something that we should be doing if we’re able, but within the bombardment of fitness related information, there’s very little insight into how and why changes occur in our bodies during regular physical activity. This course is designed to equip you with a basic understanding of how your body works and to enable you to set and meet your own health and fitness goals—including permanent weight loss, completing a charity run, or simply having more energy to live your day-to-day life with gusto.
