Forgot to elaborate on that. I was bringing that up because that could mean that there's still the chance that Ishida wants things to end well for them despite putting them through so much. Still, it's just a guess really.
On another note, that line about burial being a ritual for those left behind is from somewhere. I'm not sure it's even from Tokyo Ghoul, but I definitely remember it from somewhere. Also, is that whole scene another reference to Kaneki? I'm mostly referring to Kaneki looking down on the city and Nishiki from a tower in chapter 128. Here, Urie is on a hill (a place that still provides a similar perspective, but giving Urie more room; less constraining) looking down on a city, but up at Mutsuki. Either I'm looking too far into this or this relates to my theory that Urie is supposed to be a sort of reverse Kaneki(mostly referring to Kaneki in the original) development wise.
