نحن نكون هو شعب سبق العالم في التنظير وعلى كافة المستويات, لكننا في نفس الوقت الشعب الوحيد في العالم الذي لم يقوم بتنفيذ أي من تلك النظريات والتشريعات والقوانين التي تسن في كل فترة زمنية وحتى اليوم.
وخاصة ما يتعلق بحقوق الإنسان فما بالك و حقوق السجناء على كافة المستويات دون أستثناء.
هنا أورد مثال بسيط عايشته على أرض الواقع وفي أحد السجون المركزية اليمنية " لما قلت لوزيرة حقوق الأنسان عندما زارت السجن أخر مرة أننا نعاني الكثير هنا أزدحام وأمراض والعناية غير لائقة , كان ردها التالي" أنت في سجن أيش تشتي خدمة فندق خمس نجوم" أحد السجناء مخاطبا الوزيرة التي نصبت وزيرة لحقوق الأنسان بعد ثورة الربيع في اليمن والتي من المفترض أن تكون أكثر قربا من معاناة السجناء كونها تمثل وزارة حقوق الأنسان ولتدافع عن حقوق الأنسانية لأي مواطن كان في السجن أو خارجه أيش من وزيرة هذه وعادها تقولي وزيرة حقوق الأنسان هذا ما أخبرنا به أمام الجميع أحد السجناء في سجن المكلاء أثناء النزول الميداني للفريق الطبي الزائر لسجون الجمهورية من أدارة الخدمات الطبية بمصلحة السجون في 9/7/2013م."
لم أخذ الأمر على محمل الجد وفي نفس الوقت لم أشعر المتحدث بأننا لم نصدقه بل على العكس وهذا ما يجب علينا كأطباء أن نتقبل ونتعامل مع كل ما يقوله المريض وأن لا نصدر حكمنا عليه مباشرة أو لا نولي الأمر أي أهتمام, فكان أن أبديته له عدم ارتياحي من موقف الوزيرة المذكورة و أنشاء الله سيكون خيرا حيث أننا سنعمل كل ما نقدر عليه لتقديم الرعاية الصحية الممكنة وأن نوصل كل معاناتهم إلى قيادتنا في رئاسة مصلحة السجون وبالفعل هذا ما حصل.
بعد مغادرتنا العنبر إلى خارج المبنى فإذا بأحد الأشخاص العاملين في السجن نفسه يؤكد كل كلمة مما سبق على لسان السجين وأنها حقيقة بالفعل حدثت أما الجميع حينها (الواقعة التي ذكرها لنا السجين) . وليس بغريب أو مستبعد عن بعض المسؤولين الذين ينظرون إلى السجناء بنظرة دونيه وأن لا يعيرون جانب حقوق الإنسان الذي كفلها لهم القانون اليمني وقانون حقوق الإنسان الدولي.
