In the investigations it was found that Goldman Sachs knew that the products they sold were not of good quality. Banks made a lot of money through their clients and the clients lost lot of money. It is not wrong to make money through the clients however if the clients loses money and banks makes money then it shows that there is something wrong. Ideally the banks should not have taken such actions. There should be controls and the banks should not have been allowed to make such trades. The regulators should form strong policies which penalizes banks for misleading the clients. Clients should be given more knowledge about the products and also not sold products which are too complicated for them.
