Immigrants landed on Amelia Beach in the area of Corimba, Belas municipality and intended to settle in Luanda with the help of other foreigners living in Angola, with who they already had contacts.
According to the spokesman, the immigrants are from Congo Brazzaville, Mali, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Sierra Leone, Chad, Central African Republic and Mauritania.
"The arrest operation in Luanda coast with the participation of staff of the Border Police and tax Police will continue to prevent illegal entrance by air, land or sea", he said.
In November, the Angolan police detained in Luanda, a citizen of Guinea Conakry accused of leading the scheme of illegal entrance of foreigners in this region.
