As the IR codes didn’t worked for your device, please reset the app to troubleshoot your issue.
Here are the steps to troubleshoot:
1) On your Samsung phone, please go to Settings->Application Manager->All Applications.
2) Select Samsung WatchOn (for S4)or Smart remote (for S5) from the list.
3) Tap on 'Clear Cache' and 'Clear Data' button.
4) Tap on 'Force Stop' button.
This will clear your current setup information.
5) Now launch Samsung WatchOn or Smart remote and start setup.
