Each one to their own I guess I think I just dont like how he seems so much like Arima
Aesthetics aside, I guess I expected Kaneki to just break, have enough and turn into his "true" self, if such a thing exists. Him copying Arima makes me feel like he just runs around in circles personality-wise, always copying personalities. Hide, the sharp and totally not dead bastard told us kaneki is a really good actor, so I just get the feeling he (knowingly or unnkowingly) might have been doing that all the time.
On a slightly different note, I saw another tarot card meta (stupid past me didn't think to bookmark it), if we are to liken Kaneki to the fool card it becomes interesting in relation to the latest developments. The meta says the fool is the most powerful card because it can become any other card (copying personalities), causing mischeif and stirring up trouble. So maybe it is just how it is gonna be, Kaneki running around changing allegiances and appearences in the human-ghoul conflict. But in the end there is gonna have to besome kind of resolution or closure, and then I hope he can learn from his experiences and find some peace with himself and find out who he is.
Knowing Ishida so far though, I am not too hopeful Q_Q
