صلاح الدين الأيوبي .. الأصل والنشأة
لم يكن صلاح الدين -رحمه الله- من الأصل العربي الذي يتغنى به كثير من أدعيائه، والحق إن صلاح الدين -رحمه الله- كان من عائلة كردية، كريمة الأصل، عظيمة الشرف، ولد في تكريت، وهي بلدة قديمة تقع بين بغداد والموصل، وكان أبوه حاكمًا لقلعة تكريت. والحق إن عراقة النسب لا تشفع لسوء الخلق، ورفعة الحسب لا تغني عن ضعف الدين، وهل كان أكثر عظماء هذه الأمة وبُناة هذه الحضارة إلا من مسلمي غير العرب؟! وسَلْ عن ذلك التاريخ يخبرك بأسماء لامعة مثل البخاري ومسلم والترمذي وغيرهم من أهل العلم وقادة الجيوش.

ومن غريب ما وقع، أن ولادة صلاح الدين يوسف بن نجم الدين أيوب بن شادي، صادفت إجبار أبيه على الخروج من تكريت، فتشاءم أبوه منه، فقال له أحد الحضور: فما يدريك أن يكون لهذا المولود ملكٌ عظيم له صيت؟!
