For the researcher himself as a seven year experienced teacher at governmental, whenever and wherever he tells his pupils that they are going to learn grammar and vocabulary in that session, they look very disappointed, hoping the class to come to an end even before it starts. The researcher believes that the problem of the present study springs from pupils' low achievement and understanding in vocabulary and grammar domain as a part of English language learning. Also, EFL pupils in the Fifth grade at governmental schools lack the strategies to cope with grammar and vocabulary. They perform poorly and receive low scores at the questions related to grammar and vocabulary at English language tests as a result due to the weak performance in the domain of grammar and vocabulary. To conclude, the problem of this study could be summarized in the following statement:
• Teaching methods of grammatical rules and vocabulary are still in need of up-to-date strategies and improvements.
