5يعمل المجلس على تطوير استراتيجيات ومبادرات وسياسات استباقية مبنية على قراءات صحيحة للتوجهات المستقبلية وتحقيق التوازن بين مكونات التركيبة السكانية وإدارة الخصائص السكانية مثل البرنامج الوطني لتحسين الإنتاجية وبرنامج الاستقدام الأمثل للعمالة الوافدة
ويعمل أيضا على دعم اتخاذ القرار وضمان تكامل السياسات فيما يتعلق بقضايا التركيبة السكانية
