all Dobeck 3 units are equal. I had a Trinity for a while but never actually used it, sold it to a friend and he took it to a dyno with a stock bike, open lid, stock air filter and no spark arrestor (stock pipe). With the controller on, the dyno guy couldn t tune it right, it was always too rich. Without it, it was OK as is (not flat on, but close enough).I wasn t there to see it with my eyes, but if that is right then the Trinity unit adds fuel even at 0-0-0... It might be too much for your current setup. The last 2 settings on all Dobeck gen3 units should be 5-3 for most cases as far as I know. The dyno guy set mine at 5-3.5 and it runs good this way.I guess I d try 0-0-0-5-3 and see what happens. Your mods are very light, so I wouldn t go very high. Typically, the first 3 settings will increase (mine are 1-3.5-4.5-5-3.5).The last 2 ones affect when the 2 and 3 position kick in.. that s why they should stay relatively close to the 5-3 mark and shouldn t change much even with mods.► Show Full Signature 08 Raptor 700R SE (Click for pictures)Performance: 11.5:1 Tech Piston · HC2 · Pro-Design + K&N + Outwear · No Lid · Lexx EFI · Barker Duals · Iridium PlugComfort: DiamondJ +4.5" Kit · G-Force Axle · Stadium Shocks · Beadlocks on all 4 s · 22" RAZR2 Fronts · 20" GNCC s Rear (4snow during winter time!)Protection: Pro-Armor Belly Skid · PRM Swing Skid · Pro-Armor Fat-Pegs · PowerMadd HandguardsCandy: ESR Temp Gauge · 60cx Garmin GPS · Full Cut Fenders · TrailTech 55W Halo HeadlightsReply lazy_stanglazy_stang·RegisteredJoined May 23, 2012 · 24 Posts Discussion Starter • #3 • Jun 16, 2012CRAPTOR,thank you very much.... i set them a 0-0-0-5-3, seem to run alright but i did notice it have a litte backfire in the exhaust.... too rich or lean?► Show Full Signature2012 700R SE No mods....yetReply qcraptorqcraptor·RegisteredJoined Sep 15, 2009 · 1,516 Posts#4 • Jun 18, 2012I m no expert but backfire is usually too lean. The first pot is pretty easy to set, if it s too lean your idle will be higher than normal and stay there. You give it a little more on the pot until it drops to normal but not more. You want it to be the lowest possible without having the high idle. If your first is higher than 0, then chances are your others will follow a growing curve... something like 1-2-3, or 1-1.5-2.5, etc...I m getting pretty good at "feeling" it on mine, but it took a few years.. The middle one will have your bike hesitate when keeping a steady speed if it s too rich. Last one I haven t figured out (or even touched since I dyno ed it).► Show Full Signature 08 Raptor 700R SE (Click for pictures)Performance: 11.5:1 Tech Piston · HC2 · Pro-Design + K&N + Outwear · No Lid · Lexx EFI · Barker Duals · Iridium PlugComfort: DiamondJ +4.5" Kit · G-Force Axle · Stadium Shocks · Beadlocks on all 4 s · 22" RAZR2 Fronts · 20" GNCC s Rear (4snow during winter time!)Protection: Pro-Armor Belly Skid · PRM Swing Skid · Pro-Armor Fat-Pegs · PowerMadd HandguardsCandy: ESR Temp Gauge · 60cx Garmin GPS · Full Cut Fenders · TrailTech 55W Halo HeadlightsReply 1 - 4 of 4 PostsJoin the discussionContinue with Facebook Continue with Google buttonContinue with Googleor sign up with emailRecommended ReadingPower commander 5 issueRaptor 700 Modifications4 127 thisismetom1 thisismetom1 · updated 10 hours agoClutch/brake leversRaptor 700 Modifications6 109 Mulewhisperer · updated 12 hours agoPHX Raptor BuildRaptor 700 Modifications128 8K PHX RAPTOR PHX RAPTOR · updated 16 hours agoLooking for stock exhaust, what fits?Raptor 700 Modifications0 39 cerino2000 · updated 2 days agoCan’t decided what exhaust to buyRaptor 700 Modifications15 813 Irieblue42 · updated 4 days agoRead MoreHomeAbout UsTerms of UsePrivacy PolicyHelpContact usVerticalScope Inc., 111 Peter St, Suite 901, Toronto, ON, M5V 2H1, CanadaCookie Preferences by TrustArcForum software by XenForo RSS
