Martin Luther King's famous speech, I Have A Dream, lets all of us know what he was thinking. It lets us in on the dreams Dr. King had for all people. Some of his dreams have come true and others need more help.
Dr. King was not alone. We all have dreams of our own. In the following essay, you will follow your dreams and write about them. You will write a five paragraph essay. The order of your paragraphs is left up to you but, you must have one paragraph on each of the following:
Dreams I have for myself
Dreams I have for my family
Dreams I have for my school
Dreams I have for my country
Dreams I have the the world
Each paragraph must have a topic sentence, at least three supporting sentences, and a concluding sentence.
Example:
I have a dream for my country. I dream that one day, very soon, everyone will have a place to live. Being homeless must give a person an awful feeling. It just is not right that some people have no place to call home. It is everyone's responsibility to see that all people, especially children, have a place to go each night that is warm, safe, and welcome. Homelessness is something that can be eradicated. We all have to become part of the solution.
All paragraphs must have:
