يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على القانون البحري في النظام السعودي ومعرفة مصادره ونطاق تطبيقه وتتمثل أهمية البحث في قواعد التجارة البحرية وحيث تعتبر البيوع من أقدم وأهم الوسائل التي اتخذها التجار لتبادل السلع والبضائع ولقد اتخذت في هذا البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي وتوصلت الى ضرورة إنشاء قواعد آمره ملزمة تختص بالبيوع البحرية في النظام السعودي .
