Responsible for ADAC Procurement function to ensure that all daily requirements are attended to and also ensure the timely supply of materials and services required for the safe and effective operation of ADIA and AAID. Also responsible for the development and implementation of new procurement strategies and purchasing techniques which will result in the professional and effective operation of the Procurement Department and also achieve the lowest cost of purchase and best Terms and Conditions for the benefit of ADAC. The scope will include the timely processing of PR's, Enquiries, Internal Requests, Issue of Purchase Orders, Contracts, Service Agreements and Tenders in line with delegated financial authorities. The position will include high level and strategic negotiations with potential Suppliers, Contractors & Service Providers, the critical assessment of Business Risks associated with the purchase of high value / volume items and the analysis of different scenarios for the award/issue of Purchase Orders, Contractors & Service Agreements. The Procurement Manager will as part of his/her responsibilities also assist in the complete Tender process starting with the issue of "Request for proposal" until award of the Contract. (In association with the Contracts Manager).
