Interviewer: (Asking about the relationship between Hannibal and Will)
Mads: “I believe that Will is the person that Hannibal has loved the most in his whole life besides his sister, his young sister. So he has a fascination and to a degree an obsession with Will Graham. For Hannibal it’s never strictly mentally or physically, it’s a very blurry border line. So it’s hard to figure out exactly who Hannibal is, but you can mildly say that he is very very fascinated with Will.”
Interviewer: “I think they’re very very happy to hear that.”
Mads: “Ah, but that doesn’t mean I won’t kill him.” [x]
Interviewer: “Can you say I love you, in your own language?”
Mads: (Teaches the audience to say “I love you,” ”jeg elsker dig” in Danish)
Interviewer: “The dishes on Hannibal have been Italian and French, what about Chinese?”
Mads: “I swear to you if we change the courses I will try to persuade Bryan Fuller to make it Chinese, you have a lot of food where you can hide things inside of them. Hannibal would appreciate that… Who wouldn’t enjoy a Will Graham spring roll?” [x]
