I really cant figure out why some of my images are getting rejected due to key words.
I had a photograph of some burlap like fabric texture. It was brown/tan in color. My keywords were: Fabric, texture, brown, pattern, woven.
Got rejected due to keywords and said to only use keywords of what is physically visible or prominent. Its a piece of fabric which it clearly is, so fabric was used. It's a texture because well you can see the ridges and such in the fabric. It was a brown color so I used the word Brown. The fabric had a pattern to it, so I used pattern. And the fabric appeared to be woven. So I am not sure what keyword triggered the rejection.

Let us have a look at the photo. I'm sure your keywords are correct, but maybe we can see what the reviewer had trouble with.

you would think if the picture is really good ,the inspector would accept in and leave a not for you to edit it later

Try adding at least 7 - 10 relevant keywords to your images - give your images a chance to be found

Your keywords seem spot-on, & relevant. But I partially agree with the above comment-- you just need more of them. (perhaps the inspector was trying to say that, but hit the wrong reponse?) An image has a poor chance of being found with so few keywords, so if that was all you had, I'm sure you could find a minimum of 10.
Remember different forms of words... weave, woven; pattern, patterned; texture, textural. If no people in the image, say so: nobody. What format is it? horizontal, vertical. Is there copy space? If so, copy space. Is it a background or can be used as wallpaper? If so, those keywords should be added too. Other synonyms for fabric may apply: material, cloth, fiber... someone searching for "burlap cloth" won't find your image.
Honestly, the keyword helper can be a big help. I often think I've keyworded thoroughly, & when I click that, I realize I've forgotten some almost obvious ones. They're called "keywords" because they are key-- key to a buyer finding your image! That's the only way. If you have other images here with so few as 5 keywords, it'll pay you to go back through them & add some more relevant ones.

Seems like CanStock is in total meltdown.
Images pending for weeks. One or two get reviewed (accepted) occasionally and then suddenly I batch rejected for "invalid keywords". Being a member since 2006 with 4516 files accepted with a high acceptance rate. Now all of a sudden I cannot keyword correctly. It is mostly straight forward wildlife images with almost identical keywords to hundreds of my images accepted before. All the keywords are valid. There is no indication which keywords are “invalid” or what exactly is the problem.
I put in a ticket middle March and received a quick reply "I will forward your question to a Senior Support Representative". I am now waiting 7 weeks and no further response. In the mean time the ridiculous rejections continue. No more uploads from me until they sort out this problem.

The reason I had so few is because I have been getting more rejection lately that say keyword problems. So I started dumbing down my keywords just to get accepted.
