Price data will be analyzed and presented for the District level
Market selection will be a one-time process
For the purposes of triangulating collected data, markets in each District will be divided into two categories:
Central Markets: defined as permanent areas of commerce large enough to host at least three wholesalers (with exceptions as necessary) providing bulk goods to retailers; and diverse enough to provide access to a variety of food and non-food items (NFIs) – including vegetables, meat, grains, and WASH goods
Secondary Markets: defined as permanent areas of commerce diverse enough to provide access to a variety of food and non-food items (NFIs) – including vegetables, meat, grains, and WASH goods – but which are not large/central enough to host a wholesaler
