The study investigated the influence of using community language learning approach (CLLA) on improving the students’ English speaking skills at the English language center at Arab American University in Jenin. So as to achieve this purpose, the researcher used a speaking test on a 56-student sample that consisted of two groups out of the English intermediate level students who were selected for the study: an experimental group, where the community language learning approach was employed, and a control group which was treated with traditional method. The researcher distributed a pre-test and a post-test on the two groups to get adequate data. Based on the comparison made between the experimental group and the control group results’ means, the major result revealed that there are significant differences between the results’ means of the two groups for the favor of the experimental group which proved the effectiveness of using community language learning approach in improving the students’ English speaking skill. In the light of the study findings the researcher recommendation were attributed to teachers and students. As for teachers, the researcher recommended them to use CLLA in their classrooms to enhance the students’ speaking abilities and to make them feel more secure and less threatened to have them speak freely without any restriction concerning their anxieties. As for students, the researcher recommendation to them was to participate in CLL activities to improve their speaking skill. The researcher also recommended to conduct further research on the influence of CLLA on improving the students’ speaking skills.
