From the overall objectives stem the following specific objectives:- Provide empirical evidence on the psychosocial factors of risk that contribute to the processes of extremism and indoctrination, as well as identification of underlying psychological mechanisms.- Develop multivariate predictive models for description, explanation and prediction, for evidence-based intervention to proactively prevent violent extremism and terrorism.- Asses risk factors that can contribute to extremism among young male Palestinians who live in East Jerusalem or the West Bank, who currently study in higher education or recently finished to study. - Asses the relationship between the perceived discrimination and social exclusion the young Palestinians experience with other variables which contribute to extremism.- Assessing the impact of social communication and information management in the processes of extremism.- Evaluate the impact of audio, video, television on social groups considered dangerous in order to devise programs to fight radicalization and extremism in those groups
