RAMADAN MESSAGE 2015
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, I extend my heartfelt greetings and good wishes to all of you. It is due to the Mercy of Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala that we all have the opportunity once again to seek His pleasure by observing the fast, performing additional prayers and helping people in need.
This Ramadan our message to donors and well wishers is simple: ‘You Give, We Serve’. As You Give generously, We Serve the needy and the deprived across the world with emergency aid, food parcels, child sponsorship, livelihood, health, and water & sanitation programmes.
My sincere gratitude goes out to all those who supported Muslim Aid in Ramadan last year. It was through your generous donations that we were able to reach nearly 200,000 individuals in 40 countries across the globe. Muslim Aid also reached those affected by conflicts in Syria and Palestine with food packs containing one month’s supply of staple items and Zakatul Fitr.
This year we continue to request our donors, corporate supporters and mosques to help us once again. We urge you to contribute towards our poverty alleviation programmes. We hope you keep our programmes in Gaza, Bangladesh, Myanmar, India, Yemen, Syria and Pakistan in your hearts and minds. We also appeal to you to help improve lives through our core programmes such as the Rainbow Family Child Support Programme and ‘Feed the Fasting’.
I pray that Almighty Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala rewards each and every one of us for our good deeds, hard work and generosity and that He keeps us all in the best of health and grants us the ability to serve humanity for His pleasure and blessings. I also pray for our brothers and sisters facing difficult times and hardships the world over. We offer special prayers to Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala to alleviate their suffering and grant them relief. Ameen.
Allah's mercy and blessings be with you all.
Ramadan Kareem
Warmest regards and best wishes,
